Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire and the Hoover Dam
One can be in the dry dessert air and an hour later by the Hoover Dam. Some of the cliffs reach over 3000 feet. The sand stone gets it color from iron oxide. Over time the iron oxide producing the vibrant orange color the canyon glow under the desert light.
