is located near Springdale, Utah, USA. When one drives into the park you get a wonderful energy as the valley encompasses you. Being surrounded by the reddish tan colored Navjo Sandstone as it contrast the white snow in winter time is a fun time to explore. When I arrived after just attending a week of photography seminars I was excited to see my first sunset in the Zion canyon. Only 30 minutes before the magical light disappeared in the evening I rushed to get my gear ready. Only minutes before the light dissolved behind the Zion mountains I captured a few magical photographs.

Then soon after I put on my headlight and made my way down the dark trail to explore the Milky Way Galaxy, gleaming like fireflies in the night sky.
